Manor House of a historic family of Spetses, total area 700 sq.m on a plot of 2,000 sq.m, with an unobstructed view of the old port of Spetses.
This unique property was built in 1807, showcasing the traditional architectural style of Spetses, influenced by Greek and Venetian architecture, decorated with neoclassical and Venetian touches.
It has large balconies, spacious interiors and well-crafted stone walls, which catered to the wealthy ship owners and prosperous merchants of the time.
The entrance to the plot of the property is via a pebbled road which is a characteristic feature of Spetses.
The property is stone and surrounded by a verdant garden on a plot of 2 acres. It is developed on 2 levels (Ground floor, 1st floor) to which we have access from an internal as well as an external staircase.
Upon entering the ground floor, we meet the hall where to the left are two bathrooms. Continuing, through a corridor, on the right we find the kitchen area. Immediately after we are in a larger hall, where to the left and right of it, there are 2 spacious bedrooms. Leaving the hall we find the extremely large hall which has access to the lower terrace. To the left of the hall there is another large bedroom. Tiles are laid on the entire floor surface of the level.
Going up to the 1st floor from the external staircase (20 steps), we see that the entrance is decorated, left and right, with 2 ancient capitals which confirm the history of the property. Entering the interior, we come across 1 small hall and in about 2 meters we find the largest hall where the 2 bathrooms are directly opposite it. Moving on, we find ourselves in the fairly spacious winter room, which also has a large fireplace. To the left of the hall, at a distance of 4 meters, is the kitchen area which is manned with built-in appliances. Continuing we are in the 3rd large hall of the level, in which the 2 bedrooms are located. The floors of the entrances are marble and the rest of the rooms have wooden floors.
The next space we encounter is the summer hall where the 5 meter high ceiling is adorned with gables.
To the left and right of the hall, there are 2 more spacious bedrooms. Finally we are led to the truly imposing terrace where we have an unobstructed view of the entire old port of Spetses.
Throughout the house there are period furniture (from 1700) where, upon agreement, part of them will remain in the property.
The plot is surrounded by walls, following the old tradition of protecting the houses from pirates.
