The above property is located on the eastern side of the Peloponnese just opposite the island of Hydra and consists of a 21.318 sq.m. estate and within it a two-storey house classified by the Ministry of Culture as a Monument of Conservation - Works of Art. The Leousis family who bought the estate and built the villa in the late 1800s was a benefactor of Hydra and Ermioni. Their winter residence was Hydra. They were the first to connect Hydra and the east coast of the Peloponnese with Piraeus by ferry. The specific location chosen to build their summer residence, on the land opposite Hydra, was not accidental. Because Hydra was a very hot place for summer, they chose in Ermioni the point where there was a stream from the entrance of the bay (eastern front side of the house) to the Katafyki gorge (western, rear side of the house). With the wisdom of the craftsmen of the time, they built a very pleasant and functional house with thick stone walls and high aesthetics. It is a safe investment and with the possibility of further tourist exploitation.
