The Horizon Residence

Finikas, Syros — New 150.73 m² Residence with Private Pool and Panoramic Views over Finikas Bay

Set in an elevated hillside position above the marina, The Horizon Residence is one of just four independent homes in a new boutique residential development defined by contemporary Cycladic architecture, privacy and panoramic views across Finikas Bay.

Offering 150.73 m² of interior living space, the residence is arranged over two levels within a 259.92 m² private plot area. Its layout has been thoughtfully conceived to balance generous shared spaces with privacy, while maintaining a natural connection to the surrounding landscape and the sea.

On the ground floor, a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area forms the heart of the home. Generous openings fill the interiors with natural light and extend the living space directly onto the shaded terrace, private pool and landscaped outdoor areas, while panoramic views unfold from the main living areas across the marina, Finikas Bay and the Aegean beyond. Also on this level, the principal bedroom with en-suite bathroom offers privacy and independence, making the layout equally suited to everyday living and effortless hosting.

The upper floor is conceived as a more private retreat, with two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and access to generous terraces. From this higher vantage point, the outlook opens even further, offering an elevated perspective across Finikas Bay and towards the Aegean. At the heart of the outdoor living experience is the 23.76 m² private swimming pool, seamlessly connected to the main living spaces and shaded terrace.

Architecturally, The Horizon Residence presents a contemporary and understated interpretation of Cycladic design. Clean lines, natural stone, timber and warm earth tones create a restrained architectural language that sits naturally within the island landscape.

With an A energy rating, the residence combines architectural refinement with contemporary standards of comfort and efficiency. Specifications include high-performance thermal insulation, minimal-frame aluminium glazing with energy-efficient glass, VRV heating and cooling powered by a heat pump, and smart-home ready infrastructure for lighting, climate and security control. An independent entrance and private parking space complete the residence.

The property is currently under construction, with completion scheduled for August 2028.

Finikas beach, the marina and the village’s everyday amenities are all within a few minutes’ walk, while Agathopes Beach is approximately 2 km away and Ermoupoli, the capital of Syros, approximately 12 km away.

The Horizon Residence is designed for those seeking a more generous expression of contemporary Cycladic living — where panoramic sea views, expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, privacy and modern comfort come together in a home made equally for quiet moments and for gathering family and friends.
